History

Celebrating 24 Years In Business!

A. Allbright history

In 1987, A. Allbright opened its doors as a one-man wallpapering and painting operation.  Since then, Joshua Abramson has grown his company into one of the nation’s most notable painting contractors, with more than 25 employees and a long list of distinguished clients.  Their reputation for impeccable work and top-quality service has earned them many high profile jobs, such as the “Goliath” roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, the 14-story “Gateway Building” in Beverly Hills, a large private yacht in the Bay Area, and the homes of numerous music and movie stars, including John Travolta, Nicole Kidman, Randy Travis and more.

As a company, A. Allbright is devoted to superior customer service and exquisite attention to detail.  Their unique color consultations and outstanding warranty programs have delighted hundreds of homeowners and businesses.   Their commitment to their customers has earned them the Angie’s List Super Service Award (2010 & 2012) and the Los Angeles Daily News Reader’s Choice “Favorite Painting Contractor” award, twice.  Beyond this, the company has been nationally recognized by the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America with their “Picture it Painted Professionally” award, and the American Painting Contractor’s “Top Job” award.  In addition, they were honored to serve on ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”

A. Allbright continually leads the painting industry with innovative programs and products, including their custom line of eco-friendly, low-odor paints.  Some of their unique colors were featured in the 2011 Better Homes & Gardens color issue.  A. Allbright’s project estimating software has benefited contractors across the nation, and their dedication to community service mindset has produced charity projects that are imitated across the country.  Paint-It-Pink raised money for those battling breast cancer, Paint-It-Forward provides a free home-makeover for families in need, and Paint-It-S.M.A.R.T. provides job training and mentorship for children of single parents.

With award-winning innovation and absolute dedication to excellence, it is no wonder that A. Allbright was the first contractor in California to receive PDCA accreditation.  As they move on towards the future, Joshua Abramson and A. Allbright painting will continue to develop new ways to better their customer's properties, their community, their industry and themselves.
